Curriculum includes circle time with musical instruments and singing, show and tell, story time--in which stories are shared and discussed--and arts and crafts, all of which relate to one and two week units.
Sample units (all incorporate number and letter recognition):
- Butterflies and Bugs (observing real caterpillars turning into butterflies)
- Gardening and Growing a Garden of Good Manners
- Camping (tents, lanterns, mess kits, artificial campfire)
- Cooking (reading "Stone Soup" and making our own!)
Our activities are in the fields of:
- Language Arts (including name recognition)
- Music (introduction to different instruments)
- Outdoor play with cars, sand, play houses, slides, tunnels, boats
- Sense related activities (smell, sight, touch, hearing, taste)
